Bobby Brock went to be the Lord on December 17, 2017. He was 81 years old. He was surrounded by loved ones at his home in Cullman, Alabama.
He was a native of Cullman his whole life. Bobby was a business owner for most of his life until retiring in 1999. He ran Monarch Cleaners in downtown Cullman, Brock Real Estate, Bobby Brock Motors, and A-1 Batteries which he and his son operated together.
Mr. Brock gave his time and contributions to several organizations which included DayStar, Salesian Missions, and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was also a member.
He was preceded in death by his father, Odes F. Brock; mother, Maudie (Thomas) Brock-Price; brother, Edward Buddy Brock; sister, Ella Faye (Brock) Foster-Doetman.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Annie Lou (Johnson) Brock; son, Bobby Joe Brock, Jr. (Myra); daughter, Anita Jo (Brock) Harris (J.W.); sisters, Wilderdean (Brock) Fields; Freda (Brock) Scanlan-Partain, and Jean Brock; brother, Jimmy Brock; 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Mt. Zion Nazarene Cemetery in Hanceville. Family to receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Cullman Funeral Home.
