Curtis James Wilson is an athlete, a scholar, a friend, a brother and a devoted son. He is quick with a joke or silly comment. He is full of esoteric facts and trivia. He is a puzzle solver. He loves games, win or lose, his heart is all in. He is a trusted confidante. He wisely holds his older brothers as idols and role models. He loves his friends. He is never too prideful to hug his mother. He is his father's world. He is a devoted son, to a mother, Ashley Wilson, and, to a father, Mark Wilson, that loved him endlessly forever and always.
Curtis James Wilson is not a victim. He is so much more than the tragic circumstances that took him from us. His time on the pitcher's mound. His time playing games with his friends. His time idly in the backyard with his cousin. His time making his friends and family laugh to tears. That is Curtis James Wilson. The young man we love. Endlessly forever and always.
Everyone that loved Curt needs to know that he will not die in vain. Something good, something great will carry on in his name. That is how Curtis will be remembered. He will continue to bring light and joy, just as he did in his brief but beautiful life.
Donations to help Ashley and her boys can be made through Traditions Bank in the name of Ashley Wilson.
