Deborah Blair Ward, 67, of Addison, entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at home.
Deborah was born on July 20, 1950, in Hartselle. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for 25 years. Deborah graduated from Falkville High School in 1968. After completing her education at St. Bernard College in 1972, she went on to her career as a school teacher.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunda at Friendship Baptist Church in Upshaw. Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Brother Arthur Talley and Reverend Ira Laney will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 48 years, Haskel Ray Ward; son, Frank S. Ward and wife, Jeannette; daughters, Rebekah L. Graham and husband, Shawn, Barbara W. Wright and husband, Charles; sisters, Denise Blair, Zane Anne (John) Roberts; and three grandchildren, Raeleigh Graham, Shelton Wright and Chase Wright.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Tanner Blair; father, James M. Blair; brother, Jonathan Blair; and grandson, Rodney Wright.
