Dora Mae Stewart Brindley, 89, went home peacefully July 10, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at Bon Secours Nursing Home in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 22, at Nichols Funeral Home, in Addison, with services following.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Robert Howell of Kenneth City, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Debi Brindley, of Plantation, Fla.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
Dora was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Owen; younger daughter, Debbie; parents, Milous and Georgia Stewart; brothers, Wallace and Willis Stewart; and sister, Margaret Chambers.
