Doris Evelyn Kelley, age 90, of Pell City, Ala. passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Doris was born August 25, 1928 in Seymore, Ala.
The youngest of five children, Doris was brought up in a very loving home, filled with family values and the word of God. After she graduated college, Doris joined the Navy and served our country during the Vietnam War as a photolithographer. In her later years, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who she loved as she would her own children.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, O.P. Kelley and Mary Virgie Lawley Kelley; siblings, Odie Kelley (Sis), Ethel Foshee (John), Ivy Lee Kelley, and Jewel Burke (Ralph).
Left behind to cherish her memory, is her niece, Annette Lumpkin (Larry); niece-in-law, Earlene Burke; great-nieces, Angela Gandy (Rodger) of Prattville, Ala., and Susan Caskey (Ricky) of Lousiana; along with a plethora of other great-nieces and nephews, as well great-great nieces and nephews.
