Funeral services for Frances Wren, 76, of the Blair community, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Larry Duke officiating, with interment in Blair Methodist Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Wren passed away Oct. 15, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1941, to Henry Calvin and Bessie Ann McAbee Shoemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved gospel music and sang with the Spirit Singers. She was a member of Eastern Star and loved visiting the senior center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Lee Wren; sons, Johnny Lee Wren, Carlton Wren; sisters, Trudy Henson, Louise Pigg; brother, Calvin Shoemaker.
Survivors include her son, Scott (Maria) Wren; daughters, Glenda (Cary) Zimmerman, Brenda Haynes; grandchildren, Amber (James) Coleman, Brandi (Greg) Wren Hicks, Jarrod (Crystal) Speakman, Logan Griffith, Abbey Wren, Carly Wren, Olivia Claire Wren; great-grandchildren, Elijah Hammick, Gracie Speakman, Camilla Coleman, Atticus Coleman, Jase Speakman, Macie Speakman; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
