Funeral services for Glenn Edward Beck, 67, will be at noon Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Beck passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 15, 1950, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Harold and Geraldine Beck.
Mr. Beck was an avid gun collector and pet lover. He served as a policemen for 39 years. During that time is served as police chief in Nichols, Iowa, before moving to Cullman, where he ended his career in law enforcement. He was a great friend to all who knew him and will be missed by so many.
From his wife, "God speed, there are so many people waiting for you, so take God's hand and be at peace."
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tessa Beck; brother, Gerold Beck.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Beck; daughters, Alicia (Bill) Bright, Brianna (Jeff) Sytsma, Brooke (Jeff) Hammons and Blake Ervin; grandchildren, Logan and Jase Bright, Greyson and Haley Sytsma, Rowan Hammons, Mackenzie and Braxton Ervin; and brother, Joel (Kathryn) Beck.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
