John William Marlow, 91, was born on Oct. 7, 1926, to William Odas and Annie Bell Runge Marlow. He passed Feb. 14, 2018, at the Folsom Center.
Survivors include brothers, Louis Aaron (Ruth) Marlow, Gulfport, Miss.; and Charner Virgil Marlow, Cullman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leva (Holmes) Marlow; and sisters, Minnie Faye Marlow Suits and Mary Frances Marlow Calvert.
He served in the U.S. Navy (1945-1946) as a Seaman Second Class aboard the USS Williamsburg (VA) receiving the Victory and Asiatic-Pacific medals. He spent many years working for Ingram Farms and was a self-employed farmer.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with services at 1 p.m. Feb. 19. Mr. Marlow will be interred in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Eva.
