Lullene English Smith, 87 of Cullman, entered the gates of Heaven April 14, 2017, from Woodland Village Nursing Home. Graveside service will be 2pm Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Cullman City Cemetery, Brother Don Froelich officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Walker County November 25, 1929 to Floyd A. and Era Parris English. She was a seamstress for 32 years at Cullman Lingerie before retirement and was an attending member of Northside Baptist Church for more than 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, J L English; First husband, Samuel Tyree; and Talmadge Smith, husband of 45 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Tyree (Don) Hunter; sister, Delisa English (Ralph) Cain; granddaughters, Bama Hunter (Bryan) Turner, Carla Hunter (Danny) Stricklin; great grandsons, Noah Stricklin, Austin Stricklin, David Turner and Alex Turner; nephew, Todd (Kathryn) McLeroy; niece, Dana McLeroy (Matt) Schoenbachler; and a host of family and friends.
