Funeral services for Mary Lou Rusk, 78, of Logan, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, Rev. Steve Bryan and Rev. Anthony Clark officiating, with burial in New Hope No. 1 Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rusk passed away Monday, Dec. 18. She was married to Rayburn L. Rusk for 52 years. She was employed as a teacher with Cullman County Schools, where she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Ruby Hudson; sister, Linda Hudson; and brother, Frank Hudson.
Mrs. Rusk is survived by her husband; their children, Shannon (Mike) Chandler, Alan (Cheryl) Rusk, Bernard (Mandria) Rusk and Wesley (Sharona) Rusk; seven grandchildren, Zachary Chandler, Madison Rusk, Nijhal Chandler, Tanner Rusk, Brody Rusk, Braden Rusk and Breia Rusk; one great-grandchild, Hazel Chandler; brothers, Tommy (Gladys) Hudson, Gene (Laura) Hudson, Aubrey Hudson, Kelly (Melba) Hudson, Paul (Debra) Hudson, Randy (Daphne) Hudson and Sherrill Hudson; sisters, Sharron (Ronnie) Russell, Ida (Doug) Goode and Charlotte (Pat) Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
