Megan's Story

Megan Angela Norris Devereaux, 26, of Cullman, and a native of Effingham County, Ga., passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Megan was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and avid Dawg fan, a concert-goer who loved Rock n' Roll, and an avid fisher. She was a homemaker and attended Countryside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kolby Jayce Norris; and grandparents, Eddie Jenkins and Dale Norris.
Survivors include her husband, Daryl Joseph Devereaux; daughter, Mya Annalynn Devereaux; mother and stepfather, Stacy and Harvey Hodges; father and stepmother, David and Jessica Norris; brothers, Andrew Norris and Brenden Norris; stepsister, Dakota Smith; grandparents, Barbara Jenkins and Rev. David Norris; in-laws, Robert and Sharon Devereaux; uncle, Mark Jenkins and family; aunt, Tracy Sicay and family; brother-in-law, William Kyle Carter; and sister-in-law, Jen Haynes
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 901 West Highway 80, Pooler, GA.
