Patricia Ann Turner, 69, of Gulf Shores, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Turner was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Cullman, the daughter of Lois and Clifford Laney. A devoted wife, mother and grandma, she was an incredible cook and homemaker. She is a former employee of Lear Seating in Fenton, Mich., where she resided in Michigan for 40 years before retiring on the Alabama Gulf Coast. She took great pride in her daughter and grandchildren, her "light."
Patricia is survived by a daughter, Angela Rodgers and fiancé, Scott Millines, of Gulf Shores; grandchildren, Austin Rodgers and Avery Rodgers of Gulf Shores; brother, Nick Laney (late wife, Delaine) of Holly Pond, sisters, Linda Robison and husband, Dennis, of Foley, and Judy Ingram and husband, Bob, of Burton, brothers, Mark Laney and wife, Roxanne, of Flushing, and Doug Laney and wife, Ann, of Flushing.
Also surviving are several special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition are special friends, Leroy and Lynn Hughes of Gulf Shores, Alice Kelly of Orange Beach, Jean Schuck of Orange Beach and Russ and Wendy Gentry of Gulf Shores.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Artis.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 19, at Shell Banks Baptist Church in Gulf Shores.
