November 19, 1924 - February 25, 2018

Robert A. Geiger Robert A. Geiger, LTC (Retired, U.S. Army), who was born on the 19th of November, 1924, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the 25th of February, 2018, at the age of 93.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marie Geiger; and his brother, Philip Geiger.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ethel (Deannie) Geiger; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Elizabeth Mosley; his children, Robert Jr., James and Bonnie, Deborah, Donald and Karen Geiger; his stepson, Jeff Massey; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert joined the Army immediately after graduating from high school in 1943. He served his country with honor during World War ll, Korea, and two tours of duty in Vietnam, until his retirement in San Antonio, Texas, in 1975. He and his wife, Deannie, moved to Cullman in 1995. He had been active in the Baptist church until he became disabled last year. He and Deannie are members of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at Seventh Street Baptist Church on the 28th of February, Pastor Eric Martin officiating.
Pallbearers will include his grandsons, Lt. James Geiger, USMC, and Daniel Geiger, as well as Mark Moore, Darren Rich, Harry Speegle and J.T. Ivie.
Robert touched many lives during his life, and was dearly loved by all who knew him. He will be truly missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. prior to services.

I will always remember my sweet Uncle Bob with a smile on his face every time I would see him. He was so much fun to be around and always in good spirits. You will be missed greatly Uncle Bob! Thank you for all the good memories! Michael and I love you very much! We will see you again one day.
