Flora was born June 30, 1917, in the Baldwin community of Cullman County. She grew up on a farm with a loving family. She married her husband, Norman, on May 17, 1941, just weeks before he entered the Army during World War II. They provided eggs to Winn-Dixie stores, bakeries and restaurants in Birmingham in the 1950s through the 1970s. After retiring from farming, Flora and Norman sold their Trimble Road farm to the City of Cullman, which later became Industrial Park III.
Flora was active in the First United Methodist Church, Cub Scout Den Mother, PTA, Young at Heart Club and Cullman Regional Medical Center Auxiliary (pink ladies). She also enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, cooking, quilt making, reading and a competitive game of Rook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman S. Graham; parents, Emma Anne Quattlebaum and Robert Glenn Howard; sisters, Carrie Parker, Audrey Pedlow, Mattie Oden and Bernice Bynum; brothers, Bolden Howard, Hugh Howard and Dave Howard.
Survivors include sons, Stanley Wayne (Donna) Graham and Michael James (Dwynell) Graham; grandchildren, Laura Graham, Justin Graham, Maggie Graham, Mikey (Lindsey) Graham, Chris Graham and Matt (Catherine) Graham.
Special thanks to caregivers, Elizabeth Waldrop, Patsy Walls, Caitlyn Waddell, Starla Metcalfe and Betsy Echazabal.
