Kaye Blaylock was born on February 2, 1948 to Marvel and Norma Price. From the day of her birth, life for those that knew her would never be the same.
Kaye was a woman of many talents. She could take any room and make it showcase worthy. She had a quick wit, a loud laugh, and a fierce love for her family. She was well known and widely loved. A visit with Kaye always left you smiling, and looking to see how your furniture had been rearranged. She loved flowers . . . hers and yours. She loved her hats, too! Your trash became her treasure and she made it look GOOD!
She spent time working with the Cullman Community Theatre and many knew her from her years at Wallace State. She worked for the Girl Scouts and for state government.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bryan, his wife Glenda, and their daughter, Sarah.
She is survived by her four children, Abby, Ike, Price, and Lucy (her favorite), their spouses and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please bring Christmas lights (a Kaye favorite) and wear your favorite hat to celebrate this one of a kind lady.
Visitation is Thursday, June 8, from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
