Funeral services for Ronald Edmondson, 73, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Pastor Bob Kurtz officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Edmondson passed away Wednesday, April 5, at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1943, in Cullman. A 1961 graduate of Cullman High School, Ronald served four years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Technician, achieving the rank of Petty Officer. He graduated from Auburn University in 1971. He was a retired electrical engineer after working at GE, TVA and Monsanto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Deward and Aline Kinser Edmondson.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Gerards Edmondson; a son, Scott (Charlotte) Edmondson; a daughter, Jill (Kevin) Nelson; two grandchildren, Bailey and Bennett Edmondson; a brother, Dennis (Jane) Edmondson; a sister, Yvonne Sharpton; and caregivers, Carrie Harris and Kim Watts.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
