Sherman Doyle's Story
Funeral services for Sherman Doyle Crocker, 72, of Hanceville are at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Hanceville Funeral Home, with interment in Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation was 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Crocker passed away Wednesday, March 22. He was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Hanceville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Ethel Crocker; and a sister, Dorlene Daniel.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ronnie McElroy Crocker; sons, Jeff (Laura McDonald) Crocker of Anniston and Tony (Belinda) Crocker of Hanceville; granddaughters, Jen (Jonathan) Armstrong of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Danielle (Wes) Brokus of Warrior; grandsons, Zac Crocker and Ross Crocker, both of Cullman, and Riley Parker of Hanceville; great-grandsons, Eli Armstrong and Grant Brokus; sisters, Wavelyn Thorn, Kathy (Brian) Campbell and Donna (Don) Cone, all of Hanceville; and brothers, Jerry (Maxine) Crocker and Danny (Susie) Crocker, both of Hanceville.
