Wilda's Story

Funeral services for Wilda C. Weaver Hyche, 93, of Cullman will be at noon Friday, March 3, 2017, at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery, Rev. Chuck Worley officiating.
Mrs. Hyche passed away Feb. 28. She was born May 11, 1921, in Jefferson, Kan., to Orville and Laura Cox. She moved to Alabama in 1939. She retired in 1983 as assistant vice president of the Federal Land Bank Association of Decatur. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and was active in senior adult ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Hyche; a sister; and a brother. Survivors include two sons, Larry (Martha) Weaver, Donald (Mary) Weaver; stepdaughter, Janet (David) Hobbs; stepsons, Ricky (Bobbie) Hyche, Randy (Donna) Hyche; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
