Bobby Allen Curtis
Bobby Allen Curtis born November 12, 1943, in Lawrence County, Alabama, to Robert Allen and Virginia Miller Curtis. He died November 17, 2019, in Cullman, Alabama. He retired from the Cullman County Sheriff's Office with 25 years as a deputy and 8 years as a reserve deputy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth Curtis; two nephews, Allen Curtis and Blake Landers.
Survived by two sons; Jeff (Susie) and Jason(Carla) Curtis, Sherron Miller, mother of his children and partner, one sister; Jewel (Nathaniel) Waits, Three brothers; Charles (Betty) Curtis, Dannie Curtis, Dennis (Kathy) Curtis, sister-in-law Sarah Curtis, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 21 at Ryan's Creek Baptist Church, interment in the adjoining cemetery. Reverends Tommy Graves and Brandon Stripling officiating. Family receiving friends at the church starting at 11 a.m.
