Catherine Abel Clayton Obituary
Catherine Abel Clayton, 67, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018. Mrs. Clayton retired from the City of Birmingham after 37 years of service.
She is survived by her longtime friend, Wayne Webster; sister, Sarah Clayton; brother, Robert Abel; nephew, Glynn (Meghan) Clayton; stepdaughter, Regina Dodson; and granddaughters, Robyn (Marvin) Galicha, Heather (Ryan) Rush, Amber Urbahns.
Mrs. Clayton was preceded in death by her nephew, John Christopher Clayton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home, with burial in Nectar Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.
