Delmar Ray 'D.R.' Waters Funeral services for Delmar Ray "D.R." Waters, 80, of Water Valley will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Jerry Lake officiating, with interment in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Waters died Friday, June 17, at his residence. He was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Cullman. He was a self-employed farmer and business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.R. and Lavada Moore Waters; a sister, Ruth Waters Hale; and three brothers, Hosie Waters, Olaf Waters and Johnny Waters. Survivors include his loving wife, Emily Marie Waters of Water Valley; two sons, Michael Waters of Cullman and Gary (Jackie) Waters of Auburn; four grandchildren, Craig Waters and Brandy Gammon, both of Cullman, Levi Waters and Emily Waters, both of Auburn; and three great-grandchildren, Michelle Waters, Noah Gammon and Ethan Gammon. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
