Edna Yvonne Reid, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. She was 95-years-old. Ms. Reid was born to James Henry and Rena Bell Burgess Reid on December 21, 1926, in Cullman County, Alabama.

Ms. Reid was a member of Holly Pond First Baptist Church. She loved to be outside and enjoyed tending her flowers and yard. Edna was an animal lover, and she enjoyed taking care of her pets. She had a special love for her family, and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edna will be missed greatly.

Ms. Reid is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike Pinyan; brothers, Marshall Reid, Edwin Reid, Onan Reid; sisters, Pat Reid and Sally Herring.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa and Donald Estes; daughter-in-law, Kim Pinyan; grandchildren, Kendra and Sam Nesmith, Kent and Shelby Pinyan, Ryan and Gracie Pinyan, Scotty and Abby Estes, Skipper and Jessica Estes; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Tatum, Avery, Baby Pinyan, Slate, Sawyer, Sandler, Jaxon, Gabby, Brookelyn; brothers, Jasper and Sandra Reid, Burl and Jewell Reid; sister, Boots and Milo Hamm; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Ms. Reid are 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Holly Pond Cemetery, with Scotty Estes, Skipper Estes, Kent Pinyan, Ryan Pinyan, Dale Hamm, and Gina Jordan serving as pallbearers.

The Reid family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who have served as caregivers for Ms. Reid.
