Cullman - Helga Hedwig Braseale, 87, of Cullman, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2025. She was born on June 6, 1938 in Pforzheim, Germany to Gottlob and Hedwig Steinle.
Helga was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Buford "Jack" Braseale, her parents and her sister, Gisela Schroth.
Helga is survived by her children, Patricia Ann (Bill) Wilson and John Frederick (Marcia) Braseale; her grandchildren, Amber, Adrian, Trent and Ryan; her great-grandson, Arlo; and her remaining family from Germany, Mujdat and Gaby Bilgin.
Her memorial service will be Saturday, Aug. 9, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.until service time at 11 a.m.
