Funeral services for Hilda Jacqueline Smith, 91, of Cullman will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to service. The interment will be in the Cullman City Cemetery. Reverend Randy Phillips & Reverend Tim Aris will officiate the service.

Mrs. Smith passed from this life on April 26, 2022 at Woodland Village Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was born February 6, 1931 to Thomas Wesley and Sara Idella Haynes Nix. She was a member of Brickyard Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed life. She loved to laugh, cook and attend the Senior Centers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wesley and Sara Idella Haynes Nix; her husband, Tueford Mayo Smith; brothers, Gilbert Nix, Earl Buddy Nix, Tommy Nix, Jimmy Nix; sisters, Loveda Hacker, Lena Campbell, Evelyn Alsbrooks, Betty Faye Mizerany; daughter-in-law, Julie Fore Smith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Jeff Smith, David Smith, Josh Smith; daughter, Connie (Kenneth) Griffin; brother-in-law, Dafford (Vikki) Smith; sisters, Doris Lessman, Mary Lou (Joe) Graveman, Hazel (Martin) Graveman; sisters-in-law, Bertie Smith, Betty Nix, Pat Nix; grandchildren, Amy Griffin, Maria (Scott) Wren, Kenny Griffin, Hillary Luker, Austin Smith, Alexis Smith, Hayden Adcock; great-grandchildren, Erica Barrett, Emma Grace Thomas, Abbey Wren, Olivia Wren, Kennedy Griffin, AnaSpencer Griffin; special friend, Opal Via.
