A celebration of life for James Michael Ozier, 64, of Hanceville will be Sunday, August 4, at 2 p.m. at Garden City First Baptist Church. Brother Wayne Wisner will officiate.

Mike passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born July 6, 1960, in Sacramento, California to Alfred and Luella Ozier. He worked for Johnson Controls as an Electronic Technician and retired at the age of 62. Mike loved to tell good stories, and he loved holidays and family get togethers. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, and riding motorcycles.

Mike is survived by his brother, John Keith Ozier (Denise); sister, Joan Ozier Smith (Randy); sister, Jennifer Lynn Ozier Rudolph (Jeff); nieces and nephews, Justin Keith Ozier (Courtney), Heather Smith Tippy, Brittany North (Chris), Beth Ozier, Chase Smith, Zachary Smith; great nieces and nephews, Londyn Tippy, Laken Tippy, Molly Ozier, Luella Ozier, Nolan Ozier, Jasper Jones, Bailey Baker, and Michael Baker.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann Calvert-Ozier; and his parents, Alfred and Luella Ozier.
