Cleveland, GA. - Joe Elwin Brown, 89, of Crane Hill, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. Born February 6, 1936, Joe lived a life of love, service and dedication to faith, family and community.
A Cullman High School graduate, he earned degrees in industrial engineering and education administration from the University of Alabama. He began his career teaching at Cullman Middle School where he later served as assistant principal at transitioning to a successful 30-year career with State Farm Insurance. He was admired for his integrity, work ethic, and generosity.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ethel Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Connie Brown; children Rhonda Dennison (Frank), Cindy Brown, Roger Brown; stepchildren Teresa Carden (Forrest), Michele Gray (John), Mimi Rasche (David), and Kelly Kahle (Stephen); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, at Moss Service Funeral Home, with visitation from 12 a.m. until service at 2 p.m.
