John Bernard 'J.B.' Gray Funeral services for John Bernard "J.B." Gray, 81, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gray died Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Woodland Village Health Care. He was born March 15, 1927, in Cullman to John Bernard Gray Sr. and Lillie Mae Stewart Gray. He was an X-ray technician with Cullman Hospital and Jasper Hospital. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Donald O. Gray. Survivors include six sons, Harold C. Gray, Daniel C. Gray, Michael Z. Gray, Tyrone A. Gray, John Steven Gray and Timothy W. Gray; a brother, Jerry Gray; four sisters, Virginia L. Gray Hienl, Lucille Marie Gray Freeman, Burtie Lou Gray Perdue and Mary Emma Perdue; and 16 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
