Myra Carden Obituary
Myra Chatham Carden went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2018.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Charles Carden; a daughter, Melanie Carden (Michael) Nye; a granddaughter, Brandi Nye; a sister, Doris Cavnar; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Chatham; and a sister, Jan Brackin.
She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church for over 50 years. She taught kindergarten at the church for 18 years. Services were at 2 p.m. March 5, at The New Gardendale Funeral Home, with burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
