Mr. Norman Owen Thomas, age 64, of Baileyton, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.

Mr. Thomas was born on March 8, 1954 in Madison County to James Everette Thomas and Melba Jean Earwood Thomas. He enjoyed building remote airplanes, rebuilding and riding motorcycles, hunting, camping, boating and scuba diving. He worked as a quality control specialist inspecting nuclear power plants.

He was a member of Hebron Church of Christ.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his sister, Paulette T. Leach; step mother, Johnnie Latham Thomas; step brothers & sisters-in-law, Larry Latham & Joan, Dennis Latham & Debbie, Perry Latham & Donna, Tony Latham & Denise, Danny Latham & Johna; sister-in-law, Sylvia Latham; nieces, Tiffany Walter & Robbie, Rachael Rice & Casey; great nephews, Jackson Rice, Dylan Walter, Dorian Hendrix. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Melba Thomas; step brother, Roger Latham.

Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday February 23, 2019 at Hebron Church of Christ, Joppa Al. with Bro. Brock Johnson, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, assisting the family.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Saturday February 23, 2019 at Hebron Church of Christ, Joppa, Al.
