Orville Keith Johnson, Sr., 92, of Gardendale, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2020.
He is survived by daughter, Marilynn Estes (Porky) of Hayden; son, Keith Johnson (Becky) of Mount Olive; daughter, Latricia Belcher of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Barrett of Addison; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Macie Vance Johnson; parents, Bertie Lee and Pearl Johnson; sister, Joyce Dixon; and son-in-law, Terry Belcher.
He was a member of North Gardendale Baptist Church. After a private family graveside service, Orville will be laid to rest by his precious wife at Vance Cemetery in Jones Chapel. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Vance Cemetery, 1289 County Rd 1082, Vinemont, AL 35179 or North Gardendale Baptist Church, 125 Belcher Hill Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071.
