Patricia Ann Creel, 74, of Baileyton, passed away on September 25, 2021. She was born at home in Baileyton on September 24, 1947, to Lewis and Naomi McGriff Camp.

Mrs. Creel worked as an insurance clerk at Woodland Hospital for 33 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed gardening. Patricia loved to travel, and she enjoyed spending time with her family as well.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Trennon Camp; sister, Evelyn Pattillo; and a granddaughter, Hanna Gay.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dwayne Creel; son, Tim and Amanda Creel; daughter, Kristy and Mike Gay; sister, Betty Flack; grandchildren, Tehryn Creel, Jordan and Skyler Creel, Bayli and JP Patterson, Hayden Gay, Easton Gay, Creslee and Robert Parris; great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Harlow, Tucker, Belle, Zayden, Joplin, Payden, Sawyer, Rylie, and Ellyson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Creel will be held at Welcome Baptist Church, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Patricia will lie in state from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Bro. Jerry Lake and Bro. Terry Blakenship will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may visit with the family, at the funeral home, on Monday evening, September 27, 2021, from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m.
