Sonny Rhodes, 78, of the Prospect Mountain community, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt and Fern Rhodes; brothers, Wayne Rhodes, Curly Rhodes; sister, Marie Smith; grandson, Jered Law; and daughter-in-law, Katy Rhodes.

Mr. Rhodes is survived by his children, Janice Law (Donald), Mark Rhodes (Dusty); sister, Hellen Stricklin (Michael); grandchildren, Nick Rhodes, Jason Law; and great-grandchildren, Macy and Tyler Law.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 8, at New Prospect Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon.
